A new mother has detailed the sᴜʀᴘʀɪsᴇ response she received from people after posting a video of herself holding her twin infants online. Alexis LaRue posed with her ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ, who are seven months old and weighed 9.5 kilograms, to show off their size.

Alexis, a native of Minneapolis-Saint Paul in Minnesota, was 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighed 49 kg prior to being Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ. At 38 weeks, Alexis had gained 82 kg of pregnancy weight.
She gave birth to ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ in March, weighing about 2.9 kilograms each. In just seven months, the ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ’ birth weight has tripled.

Some people questioned whether the video had been ᴍᴀɴipulated. They always look at me as if they are waiting for me to give them some while I am eating, “said Alexis in the Mirror. “They just seem to enjoy trying out different meals.

Camila and Elena drink 177 ml of Nᴇᴡʙᴏʀɴꜱformula every couple of hours. They’ve only recently started making the switch to solid meals.
