After three miscarriages, a mother was about to give up trying for more children until she found out she was carrying Qᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ. Dayna Childress, 28, became Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with her first kid, Lincoln, in 2015 after less than a month of trying.
When Lincoln was nine months old, Mrs. Childress and her husband Colby, who is 27 years old, decided to try to grow their family.

Seven months after learning she was Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ, Mrs. Childress gave birth at six weeks, but the pregnancy terminated Pʀᴇᴍᴀᴛᴜʀᴇly. Two additional pregnancies by Mrs. Childress of Springboro, Ohio, also resulted in miscarriages.

In a desperate attempt to conceive again, the stay-at-home mother was prescribed fertility medication, which she used for an extra year.

A five-week ultrasound revealed the couple was expecting Qᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ. Otto, Willow, Simon, and Willis were born on June 29 at a gestational age of 28 weeks and 6 days.

Despite her grief, Mrs. Childress quickly became Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ after losing her child. But she had a second miscarriage at four weeks.

She worried that she would never be able to have additional children and visited four gynecologists to check for any fertility problems.

Mrs. Childress was given the ovulation-stimulating fertility ᴅʀᴜɢs Clomid and Ovidrel.

Before getting Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ again, she took the ᴅʀᴜɢs for a year; nevertheless, this pregnancy too ended in miscarriage.
Mrs. Childress used fertility ᴅʀᴜɢs for two more menstrual cycles before falling Pʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ in December of last year.

Even though there were four sacs seen on the initial ultrasound, we could only see two Bᴀʙɪᴇꜱ with beating hearts. I was so sᴜʀᴘʀɪsᴇd to find there were Qᴜᴀᴅʀᴜᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ because I had anticipated there would only be ᴛᴡɪɴꜱ or possibly Tʀɪᴘʟᴇᴛꜱ.
