Antonov An-225 Mriya

The only aircraft with six turbofan engines was the Antonov AN-225 Mriya, which was also the biggest cargo in the world. Amazingly, the aircraft could carry up to 250 tonnes of cargo on short- and medium-distance flights, including single sections weighing up to 200 tonnes.

Stratolaunch

With a 117-meter wingspan, the Stratolaunch is roughly twice as large as a Boeing 747. It has two identical fuselages, three wings, one of which is in the center, and six Pratt & Wʜɪᴛney engines mounted on 28 wheels. How much does it weigh in total? It weighs 580 tons. With the biggest wingspan in the world, the Stratolaunch utilizes a runway for takeoff and landing just like any other aircraft. As soon as it reaches its cruising altitude, which is around 10 kilometers, one or more launch vehicles are deployed. This enables constellations to develop fast at varying inclinations.

Airbus BelugaXL

After more than 200 test flights since its construction in 2014, the BelugaXL made its first actual flight in 2020. It is now formally a part of Airbus’ enormous fleet, which is now capable of transporting authorized Big Things anywhere in the world. The plane is enormous. It is 206 feet in length and has the greatest cross section of any freighter in the world. Two Rolls-Royce Trent 700 turbofan engines are used to keep the massive aircraft in the air.
