Angry Elephant Tries To Stab And Kick Baby Hippo Out Of River

An aggressive elephant in Shingwedzi, a section of the Kruger National Park, was not in the mood to share its riverfront leisure with more than 25 hippos and crocodiles. In a video provided by Latest Sightings, the elephant can be seen trying to chase away all the other animals and even kicking some of them.

It sparked a riot before spotting a baby hippo alone on the sandbank. The elephant moved immediately in its direction and started to push the baby out of the water, pulling off the unthinkable.

In his 50 years of visiting game parks, Gordon Crundwell, 57, who captured the meeting between the elephant and the hippos, asserted that he had never seen anything like it. The elephant became irritated and started trumpeting and splashing around in the water. The elephant chased all of the hippos out of the pool.

During the disruption, a juvenile hippo was left on the sandbank. The elephant came up to the baby and started to move it with his trunk. Further up the sandbank, he then flung the infant into the air, according to Crundwell.

According to him, the elephant left the young hippo after the commotion and returned to the water, where he continued to trumpet and flail about. The tiny hippo returned to the water seemingly uninjured. He then pursued the elephant. As the elephant came out of the water, the baby hippo began gnawing at his back foot. As a result, it appeared that the elephant became even more irritated and tried to kick the baby hippo away.

As the infant hippo followed the elephant out of the water, another angry ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋ seemed to be stopped by a boulder. The elephant quickly ʟᴏsᴛ interest and turned to go.

Let’s watch the sight in the video below:
