New Volvo C-series Motor Graders With Outstanding Features

The G930C, G940C, G946C, and G960C are models of Volvo C-series Motor Graders. With an eight-speed transmission as the default, Volvo D8J engines provide three distinct power levels, and eight different power levels with an optional 11-speed transmission. Preliminary research indicates that fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 5%.

The 38,510-pound G946C motor grader now comes with the Tier 4-Final equipment, which consists of a heavy-duty circle, moldboard, and drawbar as well as a blade pull of 24,957 pounds at the base. The moldboard is supported by 700 square inches of Duramide bearing surface and can receive up to 52,000 lb.-ft. of circle turn torque from the company’s twin pinion driver. A broad rotation circle is provided by the grader’s circle turn mechanism’s outside teeth.

Operator tiredness can be avoided by controlling the environment’s climate and noise levels appropriately. Every version comes included with a sizable, ROPS/FOPS-approved cab with a great view of the moldboard and 360-degree visibility of the job site.

Traditional levers, a steering wheel, and optional joystick controls can be used to regulate the hydraulics and steering. The tool carrier concept is used in all iterations of the G900C-Series. All conventional attachments created by Volvo and other manufacturers have mounting points built into the frame.
