The newest member of Bombardier’s ZEFIRO high-speed train family is the Frecciarossa 1000, also known as V300ZEFIRO or ETR 1000. Light alloys are used to create the train’s furniture and carriage casings, which may be recovered after their useful lifetimes. 95 percent of the train’s components are recyclable, and 85 percent of its materials are renewable.

There are four classes on the Frecciarossa 1000, with a total seating capacity of 485: executive, business, premium, and standard. It has tip-up seats for people with disabilities. The train has comfortable seats with individual lights for each passenger. The railway cars are equipped with on-board monitors and power outlets for laptops.
